OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Stevenson women's soccer squad (2-1-1) took down the St. Mary's College of Maryland Seahawks (2-2-2) 1-0 on Wednesday evening.
In the scoreless first half, the Mustangs were dominate, out shooting the Seahawks 6-5.
Kamille Purcell found the back of the net win an unassisted goal in the 87
th minute to lead Stevenson to a 1-0 victory.
Purcell snagged two-points from her goal, as first-year,
Isabella Serano, snags another shut out with seven saves on the night.
The Mustangs will remain at home to host Elizabethtown on Saturday, and prior to the game the team will recognize their senior class. First touch is slated for 4 p.m. on Owings Mills East.
