OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Stevenson women's soccer team (2-1-2) tied 0-0 with the Elizabethtown Blue Jays (1-2-2) on Saturday afternoon. Prior to the match up, the Mustangs celebrated their five seniors:
Kamille Purcell,
Kayla Gerbes,
Courtney Keehner,
Julyana Medina, and
Isabella Pecunes.
In the contest, the Blue Jays outshot Stevenson 14-11 overall, but both teams had six shots on net.
Isabella Serano made six saves in goal for the Mustangs, for another game with no goals against.
The Mustangs will now prepare to travel to Ashland, Va. to face Randolph-Macon on Wednesday, September 17. The match is slated to begin at 4 p.m.
