STEVENSON, Md. - The Stevenson men's tennis team defeated non-conference opponent, McDaniel, on Senior Day by a 4-3 score at the Greenspring Courts.
Simeon Smith and
Luke Appleman dropped their No. 1 doubles match by a 6-4 score, while
Dominic Duncan and
Garrett Warren fell in No. 2 by a 6-3 score.
Nate Kelly and
Nickolas Valis fell in their match by a 6-2 score.
Smith won his No. 2 singles match in straight sets by a 6-4, 6-3 score - his second victory in a row. Warren dominated his No. 3 opponent by a score of 6-1, 6-2. Kelly won in straight sets by a 6-4, 7-6 (9-7) score. Valis took his No. 6 match in three sets, 6-4, 2-6, 1-0 (10-8).
The Mustangs (4-6, 1-0 MACC) travel to Hood to take on the Blazers on Tuesday, April 8 at noon.
