READING, Pa. - The Stevenson men's tennis team fell to 3-3 in MAC Commonwealth after falling to host Albright by a 5-1 score.
The lone win in doubles play came from
Luke Appleman and
Simeon Smith who won their No. 1 match by a 6-2 score - their seventh win on the year.
Garrett Warren improved his record to 7-5 after taking down his No. 3 singles opponent, 7-5, 6-3.
Nate Kelly led his No. 5 singles match after one set, but would eventually fall, 4-6, 6-2, 6-2.
Despite the loss, Stevenson has all but clinched the fourth seed in the MAC Commonwealth playoffs (Mustangs own the head-to-head tiebreaker over fifth-place Eastern).
The Mustangs travel to Salisbury in a non-conference matchup on Sunday, April 27 at 11 a.m.
