SALISBURY, Md. - In its final tune-up before the MAC Commonwealth playoffs, the Stevenson men's tennis team fell to host Salisbury by a 7-0 score.
Simeon Smith and
Luke Appleman fell by a 6-2 decision in No. 1 doubles, while
Nickolas Valis and
Robert Houck fell by a 6-1 score. Appleman and Smith end the regular season at 7-9.
Appleman lost his No. 1 match in straight sets, 6-4, 6-1 - dropping his record to 8-9.
Garrett Warren fell 6-2, 6-0 in No. 3.
Stevenson takes on top-seeded and defending conference champion Messiah in the MAC Commonwealth semifinals on Tuesday, April 29. First serve from Grantham, Pa. is set for 3:30 p.m.
