STEVENSON, Md. - The Stevenson women's tennis team picked up its fourth win of the season in a 6-1 triumph over Trinity Washington at the Greenspring Courts.
Ariella Stepleman and
Shelby Carter shutout their No. 1 doubles opponents, 6-1, for their eighth win on the year.
Kara Chwang and
Sofia McCoy took their No. 2 match by a 6-1 score, while
Mackenzie Dicke and
Tiffany Njemanze cruised to a 6-0 win.
Chwang won her fourth match in a row in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4, in No. 1 singles. Dicke and McCoy dominated their No. 2 and 3 opponents in straight sets, 6-1, 6-1 and 6-1, 6-2. Njemanze (6-0, 6-0) and
Bethany Luckett (6-1, 6-0) also won in straight sets.
The Mustangs would later open up MAC play against Eastern.
