OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Stevenson University men's volleyball team got one step closer to the Middle Atlantic Conference playoffs on Friday night, defeating King's 3-0.

Set scores were 25-18, 25-21 and 25-10.

The Mustangs hit .323 in the match, going 17-1-25 in the final set (.640).

Tim Flanagan had 16 kills on Friday, hitting .538 (16-2-26) with three service aces and six digs.

Anthony Pezzino had 15 kills, while Ryan Thenell had seven.

Connor Roth had 34 assists and three service aces.

JD Sarmuksnis had nine digs, with Pezzino adding in eight.

Stevenson (12-7, 3-2 MAC) hosts Hood on Wednesday.
