PANAMA CITY, Fla. – The Stevenson women's lacrosse squad (5-4) fell to the No. 8 Wesleyan Cardinals (5-1) 13-5 on Wednesday afternoon to conclude their spring break series.

In the second quarter, Olivia Galati got the Mustangs on the board off a ball from Kara Yarusso at 13:22 on the clock, but the Cardinals replied with a five-goal streak to post a 9-1 lead heading into halftime.

Wesleyan opened scoring in the second half at 13:25 in the third quarter. Ava Treakle responded with Stevenson's second goal a little over a minute later, with an assist from Galati. Before the quarter would end, the Cardinals put away one more goal to tack up a 11-2 game.

In the final quarter, Sophia Murray opened scoring with a hand from Katherine Friedman with about 12 minutes left in the contest. The Cardinals replied with two goals, but Erin Steinberg came out and netted two more goals to get five goals on the board for Stevenson.
