OWINGS MILLS, Md. - Collin Palmieri's base hit down the right field line past a drawn in infield propelled Stevenson to a 10-9 win over Lebanon Valley in baseball action on Wednesday.
Palmieri finished 4-for-5 with two runs scored and three RBI, as his hit scored pinch runner Graham Sears to level the Mustangs home record to 2-2.
Brandon Perillo had two hits and drove in three runs as the Mustangs hit the double digit mark in hits for the seventh time this season.
A plethora of pitchers took the hill for Stevenson (3-7) with Mason Gove getting the win after throwing a scoreless ninth inning. Nine other pitchers saw action, collecting nine strikeouts.
Stevenson took a 2-1 lead over Lebanon Valley (5-8) in the second as Sam Batiancila scored Palmieri on a sacrifice, and would later score on a single from Perillo.
Stevenson trailed 6-2 in the third before Palmieri doubled to left center scoring Kaige Garrity and Nick Griffin to cut the deficit to 6-4.
Trailing 8-4 after the top of the fifth, Vincent Licor singled home Palmieri followed by a two-run double by Perillo to get the Mustangs within one at 8-7. Pinch hitter Zack Majeski doubled down the line to score Perillo to knot the score at 8. Majeski would ground out to pitcher on a bunt in the eighth to again tie the score at 9-all.
Stevenson begins league play this weekend, hosting Hood on Friday.
