YORK, Pa. – The Stevenson University men's basketball team saw its two-game win streak snapped on Wednesday, as the Mustangs (8-12, 2-7 MAC Commonwealth) dropped a 73-55 decision to York (15-5, 8-1 MAC Commonwealth).
For Stevenson,
Mason Jones had 13 points while Cam Smith scored 12 points. Smith is now just four points from reaching the 1,000 point mark in his career.
Ronald Ayers had nine and
Cameron Sapienza had seven for Stevenson.
York was led by 17 points from Jackson Mascari and 15 points from Tate Landis.
Jones finished with a game-high nine rebounds and five steals for Stevenson, who trailed 34-27 at intermission.
Stevenson will host Eastern on Saturday.
