HERSHEY, Pa. - Stevenson Women's Hockey traveled to Hersheypark Arena this evening for a MAC matchup with Lebanon Valley. The Mustangs scored first, but the Dutchmen were quick to respond and pull ahead to a 6-2 win.
Stevenson got on the board first thanks to junior Maggie Dean, who caught a pass from classmate Meghan Croyle at the halfway point of the opening period. Dean's goal was her third of the season and Croyle's assist was her ninth.
Lebanon Valley went on to score six straight goals.
Stevenson's second goal came from a solo effort by graduate student Franki Cappello, accounting for her third goal of the season.
In net, senior Olivia DeGuire made 29 stops.
The Mustangs return home next Saturday to host the Dutchmen in their final game of the season. On Friday, they travel to face Arcadia.
