WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Stevenson women's ice hockey team (0-11-1 overall, 0-7-1 MAC) fell 8-1 to Wilkes (8-1-0 overall, 7-1-0 MAC) on Saturday evening.
Wilkes opened the scoring at the 4:48 mark, but Meghan Croyle answered less than two minutes later to even the game. The Colonels responded with three additional goals to take a 4-1 lead into the first intermission.
Stevenson held Wilkes scoreless in the second period, but the Colonels added four more goals in the third to secure the 8-1 victory.
Croyle recorded the lone Mustang goal with an assist from Kylie Chandler. All three Stevenson goaltenders saw action, as Erin Samuelson, Maggie Sehnert, and Emily Carson combined for 33 saves.
The Mustangs will now break for winter recess before returning to action against Neumann on January 9, 2026, at 7 p.m.
