REISTERSTOWN, Md. – The Stevenson men's ice hockey team (7-4-0 overall, 6-1-0 MAC) earned a commanding 4-0 victory over Wilkes (7-3-2 overall, 4-3-1 MAC) on Saturday afternoon.
Jack Karlsson opened the scoring at the 11:18 mark of the first period, assisted by Carson Galin and Matt Yeager. In the second period, John Musella doubled the lead with a goal just before the buzzer.
In the third, the Mustangs capitalized on the Colonels' empty net. Blake Benson found the back of the net at 17:58 with assists from Aiden Lindley and Aidan McDowell, and Jack Day sealed the 4-0 win with a shorthanded goal in the final 27 seconds, set up by Joshua Swan and Lucas Karlsson.
Karlsson and Benson each finished with two points, while seven Mustangs recorded at least one point. Goaltender Ford DeLoss secured the shutout with 34 saves.
The Mustangs will now break for winter recess before returning to action against Neumann on January 9, 2026, at 7 p.m.
