NORTHFIELD, Vt. – The Stevenson men's ice hockey team (5-3) fell 4-1 to the Norwich Cadets (5-3) on Friday evening.
Norwich struck twice in the first period before Carson Galin put the Mustangs on the board in the second. The Cadets added another goal later in the frame and sealed the game with an empty-netter to secure the 4-1 victory.
Galin scored the lone Stevenson goal, assisted by Jack Costabile, while Ford DeLoss registered 26 saves in net.
The Mustangs now turn their attention to their second game of the Layer Eight Shootout against SUNY Plattsburgh. Puck drop is scheduled for 4 p.m.
