GLENSIDE, Pa. – The Stevenson women's ice hockey team (0-7-1 overall, 0-5-1 MAC) fell 6-0 to Arcadia (7-0-1 overall, 5-0-1 MAC) on Sunday afternoon.
Arcadia struck early, scoring three times in the first period to take a 3-0 lead. Stevenson held the Knights off the board in the second period, but Arcadia added two power-play goals and an even-strength tally in the third to secure the victory.
Carleigh Barwick, Emma DeMan, Kira Otto, and Abby Smith each registered two shots on goal for the Mustangs. In net, Maggie Sehnert made four saves before Emily Carson closed out the game with 30 stops.
Stevenson will step out of conference play next weekend, traveling to Angola, Ind., to take on Trine. Puck drop is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday.
