OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Stevenson women's soccer team (7-2-5 overall, 3-0 MACC) edged Widener (6-5-3 overall, 1-2 MACC) with a 1-0 victory on Saturday afternoon.

The Mustangs controlled the tempo throughout, outshooting the Pride 13-4 overall and 5-1 on goal. In the 85th minute, Karly Sheahan broke the deadlock, finding the back of the net off a corner from Isabella Pecunes to secure the win.

Goalkeeper Isabella Serano recorded one save to notch the shutout.

Stevenson returns to action on Tuesday, traveling to face Eastern in MAC Commonwealth play at 3:30 p.m.
