ST. DAVIDS, Pa. – The Stevenson women's soccer team (7-3-5 Overall, 3-1-0 MACC) fell to Eastern (8-4-3 Overall, 2-2-0 MACC) by a 1-0 score on Tuesday afternoon.
The match remained tight throughout, with Stevenson holding a slight edge in shots, 9-8, while both teams recorded five shots on goal. Eastern netted the game's lone goal in the 17th minute.
Isabella Pecunes led the Mustangs with three shots, followed by Karly Sheahan with two. Five different Mustangs tallied a shot on goal, while goalkeeper Isabella Serano made four saves in net.
Stevenson will now turn its attention to No. 5 Messiah, with kickoff set for Saturday at 1 p.m. on Owings Mills East.
