Havre De Grace, Md. - The Stevenson men's golf team is fifth out of 13 teams with a score of 315 (+27) after the opening round of the Battle at Bulle Rock, held at the Bulle Rock Golf Club. 

Zachary Wilcox and Matt Slivosky led the way for the Mustangs with scores of 77 (+5). They are both tied for 11th. 

Gavin Barton finished three strokes back of his teammates with an 80 (+8), while Ryan Thomas carded an 81 to round out the team score. 

Alex Nichols shot an 89 for Stevenson.

Fischer Leggitt of Christopher Newport leads the field at -3, while his school leads the team standings at +15.

The Mustangs will close out the fall when they compete in the second and final round of the tournament on Wednesday, Oct. 15.
