Box Score SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - Stevenson Men's Lacrosse remained at Union College following yesterday's 12-11 win over the hosting Garnet Chargers, which advanced them to the NCAA Third Round. The Mustangs took on the No. 8 Tufts University Jumbos, and despite a nearly even first quarter, Tufts would break away for a 27-7 victory.
Tufts struck first, but the Mustangs were quick to get it back thanks to first year Darrell Curtis for his 48th goal of the season. Building off of Curtis' scoring momentum, senior Andrew Searing followed with a goal of his own to put the Mustangs up 2-1. Junior Jack Scaliti assisted on both goals.

Tufts came out scoring in the second, racking up four goals to extend their lead. Searing was back on the board for the Mustangs with just under three minutes to go, citing an assist from sophomore Max Racich. With nine seconds to spare in the half, junior Graeme McCrory scored his first goal of the tournament and ninth goal of the season. Despite the late offensive push, the Mustangs trailed by five at the end of the half.
In the third, Tufts scored 11 unanswered goals, adding a 12th to start the fourth quarter. Scaliti would score the final two goals of the Mustangs' 2024 campaign to bring his own goal total to 30.
