FREDERICK, Md. – The Stevenson University men's volleyball team took another step closer to the playoffs as the Mustangs (14-8, 4-2 Middle Atlantic Conference) defeated Hood (5-19, 0-6 Middle Atlantic Conference) 3-0 on Wednesday night.
Set scores were 25-17, 29-27 and 25-14.
Adam DeRubertis had a team-high ten kills, with
Brian Farrell netting eight and
Micah Ernest getting seven.
Doug Hines had a match-high 25 assists on the evening, in addition to getting two service aces.
DeRubertis,
Adam Sawyers and
Corwin Trouteaud each had 1.5 blocks, while Ernest led the way with six digs.
Stevenson closes its home schedule on Saturday, hosting Misericordia and Division I Sacred Heart at 1 p.m.
