STEVENSON, Md. - The Stevenson men's tennis team dropped its spring opener to Penn State Harrisburg by a 7-2 score at the Greenspring Courts.
Honour Zan and
Nickolas Valis picked up the lone doubles win for the Mustangs in No. 3.
Simeon Smith and
Larry Johnson III dropped a close match in #1, 8-6.
Valis picked up his first career singles win in No. 6 by a 7-6, 6-3 score. Zan took the first set in his No. 5 match, but would eventually fall 6-7, 6-1, 1-0.
Johnson dropped a close first set in his 7-6, 6-2 loss in No. 1.
Garrett Warren fell in his No. 4 match, 7-5, 6-4.
The Mustangs continue their non-conference schedule in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina against Dickinson College on Sunday, March 10.
