OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Stevenson University men's volleyball team gave their fans a Valentine's Day gift on Wednesday night, sweeping Lancaster Bible 3-0 in a non-conference affair.
The Mustangs (4-4) won by scores of 25-22, 25-21 and 26-24 over the Chargers (3-9).
For Stevenson,
Anthony Pezzino had 13 kills on 24 attempts with three errors (.417), while
Tim Flanagan had 12 kills as he hit .320 on the night.
Ryan Thenell had 11 kills, with Stevenson hitting .322 on the evening.
Doug Hines picked up 26 assists, with
Justin Novoa getting ten.
Pezzino also had seven digs defensively, followed by
Tanner Laukhuff and Flanagan with six.
The Mustangs also got three blocks each from Thenell and
Aidan O'Brien in the win.
Stevenson will host Virginia Wesleyan on Saturday.
