ASHLAND, Va. – The Stevenson University men's basketball team dropped its first game at the Suyes Yellow Jackets Classic, as they were defeated by host Randolph-Macon 79-48 on Saturday afternoon.
The Mustangs (5-4) got a game-high 16 points from
Mason Jones, while
Cameron Smith and Bryon Whitley each added in seven.
The Yellow Jackets (7-3), who are receiving votes in the latest D3Hoops.com Top 25 poll, put three players in double figures paced by 13 points from Keishawn Pulley Jr., and 11 points each from Jabril Robinson and Theo Antinori.
Joey Lutz and
Kendall Seguignol each had four rebounds for Stevenson, who will take on Brevard at 1 p.m. Sunday in the consolation game.
