SAN JUAN, P.R. – The Stevenson women's basketball team fell 69-41 to Hanover College on Friday afternoon. 
 
Hanover was the first to get on the board, before 
Janiya Ennis returned the favor and netted a jumper to make it 2-2 with 9:09 on the clock. Hanover then took off offensively and built up a 21-10 lead at the end of the first. In the second quarter, Hanover again steamed forward making it 37-20 at half. In the third and fourth quarter, Hanover kept pushing offensively, and despite the Mustangs' efforts, Hanover posted the 69-41 victory. 
 
Ennis led the points column with seven on the afternoon, while picking up five rebounds. 
Erin Dixon, 
Destiny Towns, and 
Sanaa Thorne each put up six points. Thorne led the rebounds column with seven, as Dixon and Towns each grabbed three. 
 
Stevenson will take a couple weeks off from competition and prepare to travel to Christopher Newport for their last nonconference contest on Friday, Jan. 3. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m.
