Mustangs shut out Golden Wolves in MAC opener

ASTON, Pa. - Stevenson Men's Hockey hosted Alvernia University tonight in their MAC opener. The Mustangs would earn a 3-0 win over the Golden Wolves, extending their win streak to three.

First year Aiden Lindley started the Mustang scoring off just two minutes into the match, citing an assist from classmate Gage Parillo. The goal was Lindley's career first, as was Parillo's assist.

Junior Connor MacDonell came in with his second goal of the season in the second period with Lindley assisting to extend the Mustang lead to two.

Lindley and MacDonell were back in the third on Gage Parillo's first career goal, giving the Mustangs a 3-0 advantage and solidifying the win late in the game. Lindley finished the night with three points and MacDonell and Parillo followed with two apiece.

Parillo finished with a game-high three shots, followed by Graeme McCrory, Matt Gough, Blake Benson, Matt Yeager, and Aidan McDowell with two each.
