OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Stevenson University saw its season-opening winning streak stop at three as the Mustangs (3-1) fell to St. Mary's College of Maryland (2-3) 87-73 on Saturday afternoon.
The Seahawks shot 54.2 percent (32-for-59) from the field in the contest on the way to the win.
Stevenson was led by 21 points from
Cameron Smith, with
Ronald Ayers scoring 16 and
Myles Jackson netting 12.
Ayers and Jackson had six rebounds each, with
Zach Bolgert netting two steals.
Mason Jones and Smith had three offensive rebounds each.
Stevenson will take the week off for Thanksgiving, and host Gettysburg on Wednesday, December 4 at 8 p.m.
