OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Stevenson University women's volleyball team closed the middle portion of its season on Wednesday night with a 3-0 win over the Golden Wolves of Alvernia.
 
Set scores were 25-19, 25-18 and 25-7.
 
Giulia Viglietta and Rachel Lenz each paced the Mustangs (11-9, 2-2 MACC) with eight kills, while Kylie DesLauriers had six.
 
DesLauriers had three aces on the night, as did Nicolette Fuglestad. Samantha Simmers had two.
 
At the net, Lenz had five blocks along with Zakara Masibo.
 
Makala Thompson had 18 assists with Courtney Foose getting six.
 
Defensively, Fuglestad had 12 digs with Viglietta adding in eight.
 
Stevenson will have Homecoming Weekend off, before hosting Hood next Wednesday at 7 p.m.
