REISTERSTOWN, Md. - Stevenson Women's Ice Hockey celebrated seniors Cassie Campbell, Hannah Labbe, Franki Cappello, Emily Brightbill, Katelyn Reid, and Ainsley King before today's contest with Arcadia University.
The Mustangs held Arcadia to one goal in each of the first and second periods before the Knights broke away with three third period goals, leading them to a 5-0 victory.
Cassie Campbell won a game-high 12 draws in the circle, followed by sophomore Maggie Dean with five. Brightbill, Dean, junior Maddie Silverman, and first year Emma DeMan tied for a team-high three shots on goal.
In net, Ainsley King made 25 stops, including 12 in the second period. In front of King, sophomore Meghan Croyle led the game with four blocks, followed by Brightbill and sophomore Jayne DeBejian with three each.
Next weekend marks Stevenson's bye week, so the Mustangs do not return to action until Friday and Saturday, February 9th and 10th. They will head to Manhattanville College in search of UCHC points before returning to Reisterstown Sportsplex on Friday, February 16th for the final home game of the regular season against Neumann University.
