OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Stevenson women's soccer team and Alvernia Golden Wolves battled into a scoreless deadlock on Saturday afternoon on Owings Mills East.
The Mustangs held majority of possession throughout the matchup against the Golden Wolves, and outshot Alvernia 20-11 overall, 9-6 on goal.
Madison Rytina led the shots on goal column with three, as
Taylor Reider and
Karly Sheahan followed with two.
Kayla Gerbes and
Samantha Wilson each posted one shot on goal.
Courtney Wysokowski made six saves in net, holding Alvernia scoreless.
The Mustangs will prepare to travel to Jenkintown, Pa. to matchup against Penn State Abington in nonconference play. First touch is slotted for 4 p.m.
