COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Stevenson women's soccer squad was downed 0-2 by Ursinus on Sunday afternoon.
The Bears put away two goals in the contest. The first goal came in the 28
th minute of the match up to put the Bears up 1-0. Ursinus then put a second goal away in the 38
th minute to make it a 2-0 game at half. Despite all offensive efforts from Stevenson, Ursinus walked with the 2-0 win.
In the matchup,
Kayla Gerbes and
Cassidy Butler each put up two shots on goal, as four other Mustangs posted one.
Courtney Wysokowski stood between the pipes for the Mustangs and made five saves on the afternoon.
Stevenson will travel north to Doylestown, Pa. on Wednesday to face the Delaware Valley College Aggies. First touch is slated for 7 p.m. under the lights.
