ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. - Stevenson Field Hockey traveled to St. Mary's College of Maryland this afternoon for a non-conference matchup.
The Seahawks would score just six minutes into the game, and it would prove to be the lone goal of the contest as the Mustangs fell 1-0.
First-year Jordan Vradenburgh got her first start in net, making two saves throughout the first half of the game. Senior Eve Vickery entered after halftime, making two saves as well.
The Mustangs registered six shots on goal, half of which came from senior Emma Gladstein. Seniors Meghan Huey and Rylee Leakway were joined by sophomore Brenna Benson in firing one shot on goal each.
Stevenson now stands at 5-2 overall ahead of their next contest, set for Monday, September 25th at 6 P.M. when they host Immaculata University at Owings Mills East.
