Field Hockey brings home fourth straight win in six-goal performance at Cedar Crest

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Stevenson University Field Hockey traveled to Cedar Crest College tonight for a non-conference matchup. The Mustangs continued on their tear, dominating the Falcons to a 6-0 final and their fourth straight win.

Senior Emma Gladstein, coming off of a four-goal game against Virginia Wesleyan yesterday, was the next Mustang to ink her name on the scoresheet in a solo effort before the clock ran out on the first quarter.

Classmate Macy Kosanovich would net her second goal of the season to start the second quarter. Kosanovich's goal would was the first of three within the period with Gladstein completing her hat trick within five minutes to expand the Mustangs' lead to five. Gladstein concludes her first five games of the season with a conference-leading 21 points.

After a scoreless third quarter, first-year Anna Zadel would net her first collegiate goal with just under ten minutes to go. She now has three points in her rookie campaign after notching her first career point with an assist against Sewanee.

The victory marks the Mustangs' fourth straight, as well as their third shutout on the season. They look to extend the streak to five this coming Saturday, September 16th, at noon when they host Bridgewater College at Owings Mills East.
