CHESTERTOWN, Md. – The Stevenson men's soccer squad opened up the fall 2023 season with a 0-0 draw against the Penn State Abington Nittany Lions.
 
The Mustangs out shot the Nittany Lions overall in the matchup 13-10, but Penn State had five shots on goal while Stevenson had four.
 
Bryant Seivers put three shots up on the afternoon, as Adam White, Rene Rodriguez, and Sergio Tamayo each posted one shot on goal.
 
Ryan Peterson made his collegiate debut in the contest, making five stops, and keeping the Nittany Lions scoreless.
 
The Mustangs will continue to participate in the Athey Cup at Washington (Md.) as the squad will face Moravian University on Saturday, Sept. 2 at 1 p.m.
