Cameron Summers won his second-straight conference title in the 100m dash on the third and final day of the MAC Outdoor Championships, hosted by York, with a time of 10.65 seconds. Stevenson athletes have won the 100m dash at the MAC Championships nine straight times, dating back to 2014 when Devonte Williams won his first of four-straight conference titles in the event. Summers would also place second and earn All-MAC Second Team honors in the 200, where he ran a season-best time of 21.62 - just .04 seconds behind Samuel Knowles of Widener.
Christian Eldridge placed sixth in the 100 with a personal best time of 11.00, while taking seventh in the 200 with a 22.45.
Nathan Williams picked up another medal in the throwing events with a second-place finish in the shot put, where he had a top toss of 15.81m. Williams, who also took second in the discus and fourth in the hammer throw, was named MAC Field Athlete of the Year. Williams, who owns the school record in the shot put, discus and hammer throw, is on track to qualify for nationals in both the discus (50.42m) and hammer (59.89m).
Stevenson would place fifth overall out of 16 schools in the team standings with a score of 72. Messiah would go on to win its third MAC Championship - and first since 2002 - with a team score of 132.
Jai Raccioppi clocked a personal best time of 48.86 in the 400, which gave him third overall and All-MAC Third Team honors.
Fabrice Saint Hillien - who also ran personal best - finished fifth in the event with a 48.95.
Jeremiah Battle, Saint Hillien,
Malik Hamilton and Raccioppi closed out the meet with a third-place finish - and all-conference third team honors - in the 4x400m relay with a season-best time of 3:21.24.
Stevenson continues its season at the Swarthmore Final Qualifier on Monday, May 15.
