READING, Pa. - The Stevenson men's tennis team swept host Albright by a 9-0 score - improving their MAC Commonwealth record to 2-0.
Larry Johnson III and
JJ Bonta cruised to their fifth win of the season in No. 1 doubles by an 8-3 margin.
Lukas Sanidas and
Chad Smialek picked up their second straight win in No. 2, 8-1.
Simeon Smith and
Sathwik Madasi cruised to an 8-2 win.Â
Johnson won his No. 1 singles match in straight sets, 6-1, 7-5, giving him six wins on the year. Bonta won by a 6-3, 6-1 score for his fifth victory on the year.
Sanidas and Madasi both picked up their second-straight win in No. 3 and No. 4. Sanidas won in straight sets, 6-3, 6-4, while Madasi won by a 6-1, 6-2 score.
Smialek won his match via a third-set tiebreak, 7-5, 0-6, 9-7. Smith cruised in No. 6 singles, 6-0, 6-2.Â
The Mustangs (6-4, 2-0 MACC) host Messiah in their conference home opener on Tuesday, April 11. Â
