FREDERICK, Md. - The Stevenson men's tennis team opened up MAC Commonwealth play with a 9-0 win over host Hood.
Larry Johnson III and
JJ Bonta cruised to their fourth doubles win of the year in an 8-0 rout in No. 1, while
Lukas Sanidas and
Chad Smialek won by the same 8-0 score in No. 2. Stevenson won in No. 3 doubles by default.
Johnson picked up his fifth singles win of the year in straight sets, 6-1, 6-1. Bonta won his fourth singles match by a 6-0, 6-0 score.
Sanidas and Satwick Madasi won their respective matches by the same 6-0, 6-0 score. Stevenson won the other two singles matches by default.
The Mustangs (5-4, 1-0 MACC) continue conference play on Saturday, April 8 at Albright. First serve is set for 1 p.m.
