Owings Mills, Md- The Stevenson University baseball team was bested by Catholic University on Tuesday afternoon, bringing the Mustang's record to 17-17.
 
Junior Kyle Pellegrino was dealt the loss and is 0-2 on the season so far.
 
Graduate student Jonathan Brandt hit a homer in the first inning as the second at-bat.
 
In the fourth, freshman Noah Joly flew a sacrifice hit out to infield allowing graduate student Tommy Holcomb to score the Mustang's second run of the game.
 
Then, in the fifth inning, junior Dylan Young singled up the middle, bringing Holcomb to second and sophomore Brandon Perillo home, making the score 15-3.
 
Moving forward, the Mustangs play Gettysburg at the Owings Mills East Campus at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The schedule is subject to change due to the weather this weekend.
