SALISBURY, Md. - The Stevenson men's tennis team fell to Salisbury in its final tune-up before the MAC Commonwealth playoffs by an 8-1 score.
Larry Johnson III and
JJ Bonta dropped their No. 1 doubles match by an 8-3 score, while
Lukas Sanidas and
Simeon Smith fell in No. 2 by an 8-4 margin. The loss drops Johnson and Bonta's record to 9-5 on the year.
Bonta dropped a competitive match in No. 2 singles by a 6-3, 7-5 score, dropping his record to 10-4. The lone win for the Mustangs came from
Nathan Davidson, who won his No. 6 match in straight sets, 6-4, 7-6 (8-6).
The second-seeded Mustangs will host third-seeded Messiah in the MAC Commonwealth semifinals at the Greenspring Courts on Tuesday, April 25 at 3:30 p.m.
