Nathan Williams and
Cameron Summers led the way for the Mustangs at the Messiah Invitational with a combined three first place finishes and one school record. Stevenson finished seventh in the team standings with 39 points.
Once again, Williams broke his own school record in the hammer throw with a top toss of 59.89m, which gave him first place in the event. Williams would also win the discus (47.37m) and place fourth in the shot put (14.09m). Williams currently has the top hammer throw performance in the Mid-Atlantic region thus far. Regionally, Williams also has the second-best performance in the discus (48.67m) and fourth best in the shot put (15.96m).
Summers ran a season-best time of 21.67 in the 200m dash to claim first place overall. Summers currently has the top performance in the conference and region.
Jai Raccioppi would take ninth in the event with a time of 22.88. Raccioppi would also take 11th in the 400 with a time of 51.20.
Johnathan Womack clocked a personal-best time of 52.19 in the event.
Conner Hall set a personal best in the long jump with a top leap of 6.12m.
Dominic Snipes clocked an 11.63 in the 100 for the Mustangs, which gave him 18th place out of 54 athletes.
The Mustangs will head to Baltimore to compete in the Hopkins/Loyola Invitational on Saturday, April 22.
