STEVENSON, Md. - The Stevenson women's tennis team dropped its second straight MAC Commonwealth match in a 6-3 defeat to Alvernia.
Tiffany Njemanze picked up one of the two singles victories for the Mustangs in three sets, 3-6, 6-3, 11-9, which gives her two singles wins on the year.Â
Torrienne Emery dropped her No. 1 singles match in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3, while
Jacquelyn Nesbeth fell in No. 2 by a 6-4, 6-0 score.Â
Samantha Zudov fell in No. 4, 6-3, 6-1.Â
Stevenson's other two wins came via default.
The Mustangs (5-5, 2-2 MACC) will look to pick up their third conference win in a matchup against Eastern on Saturday, April 15. First serve is set for 11 a.m on the Greenspring Courts.Â
