The first period was a scoreless battle for both the teams, but Arcadia notched the first point of the game at 1:32 in the second period. At 8:34,
Franki Cappello put away a power play goal off a puck from
Ashlyn Bray to tie the game 1-1 going into the third period.
In the third period, both teams dueled to attempt to notch the game-winning goal, but it was Arcadia who put one away at 15:08. The Knights capped off the 2-1 win over the Mustangs.
The Musangs will remain at Arcadia to finish the weekend series and play their last regular season game on Saturday afternoon. Puck drop is set for 3:30 p.m.
