FREDERICK, Md. – The Stevenson University women's volleyball team finished its MAC Commonwealth schedule on Wednesday night with a 3-0 win over Hood.
Set scores were 25-15, 25-21, 25-15.
The Mustangs will be the second seed in the upcoming Commonwealth playoffs and will host Messiah next Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
Back to Wednesday's match, the Mustangs hit .247 (34-11-93) and had a 9-2-21 clip (.333) in the third and deciding set.
Rileigh Kimball had a team-high 11 kills on the night, with
Kylie DesLauriers adding in seven and
Darian Dildy getting six. Kimball hit .579 in the match, with 11 kills on 19 attack attempts without an error.
DesLauriers had three aces, with
Haley Hoover and
Kayla Vaeth getting two each.
Dildy had a match-high six blocks, with Kimball and
Giulia Viglietta each netting three.
Makala Thompson posted 20 assists, while Vaeth had ten digs.
Stevenson closes the regular season on Friday night, hosting Susquehanna at 7 p.m.
