WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Stevenson men's tennis team (0-2) dropped its fall season finale to host Catholic by a 7-2 score.
Honour Zan won in his collegiate debut after overcoming a one-set deficit, 6-7 (3-0), 6-1, 10-5, which was the Mustangs' lone singles win on the day.
Zan and
Garrett Warren picked up Stevenson's other win in No. 3 doubles, 8-3.
Both
Nathan Davidson (6-3, 3-6, 10-4) and
Garrett Warren (6-3, 2-6, 12-10) overcame one-set deficits in their singles matches, but would fall in third-set tiebreaks.
Larry Johnson III and
Simeon Smith narrowly fell in No. 1 doubles by an 8-6 score, while Davidson and
Sathwik Madasi lost their No. 2 match by the same margin.
