OWINGS MILLS, Md. – The Stevenson men's soccer team fell in a 0-3 decision to the St. Mary's College of Maryland Seahawks on Wednesday evening.
The Mustangs came out strong defensively until the Seahawks broke through in the 39
th minute to put their first goal on the board. The Seahawks then put their second goal away in the 41
st minute to slot a 2-0 lead going into halftime.
In the second half, the Seahawks netted a third goal in the 76
th minute, while holding the Mustangs scoreless to secure a 3-0 win over Stevenson.
Three Mustangs had shots on goal in the competition, while four registered one for a total of 10.
Nolen Olson-Warwick made 11 saves in net for the Mustangs on the evening.
The Mustangs will prepare to face the York College of Pennsylvania Spartans on Saturday in York, Pa. Kickoff is slated for 3 p.m.
