BALTIMORE, Md. - Stevenson Field Hockey traveled to downtown Baltimore tonight for a non-conference matchup with the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays, currently ranked third in the country.
The Mustangs would hold the Blue Jays to just two goals against, a feat that has only been accomplished by all but one ranked team this season.
First-year Jordan Vradenburgh was stellar in net, doubling her previous single-game high and matching her career total with ten saves in her first complete game. She faced 28 shots overall.
For the Mustangs, senior Emma Gladstein led with two shots, while classmate Meghan Huey and sophomore Emilie Rankin tallied one apiece.
The Mustangs will return to Owings Mills East on Saturday, October 7th to face Albright College in their conference opener at noon.
