OWINGS MILLS, Md. - The Stevenson Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) announced its 2018-19 membership roster. SAAC will consist of ten percent representation of each varsity athletic team. Members were nominated by each of their head coaches.

Members of SAAC will be charged with representing their team and sport by voting on proposed NCAA legislation, monthly community service, aiding the athletic department in operations and being a strong student-athlete voice at Stevenson, the Middle Atlantic Conferences and the NCAA.

The executive board consists of JT Klopcic (Men's Cross Country/Track and Field), Alexis Young (Field Hockey), Marissa Inglisa (Women's Soccer) and Morgan Cheatham (Men's Track and Field). Klopcic will serve as President while Young (Communications), Inglisa (Athletic Integration) and Cheatham (Community Outreach) will all serve as Vice Presidents. Stevenson field hockey head coach Laurel Martin serves as the SAAC advisor.

This year SAAC will host several events and initiatives as well as partnering with several on and off-campus organizations such as the Middle Atlantic Conference SAAC. A few other notable events will be a seminar for student-athletes on mental health, the annual Lift-A-Thon, as well as a second season of Inside the Stable.
