Kieran Ward registered two goals with four assists for the Bullets as goalie Scott Macmillian collected 17 stops. Stevenson held a 17-9 margin in shots over the opening quarter, finishing with the narrow 46-45 edge in the shot department.

After surrendering the first goal, Stevenson responded with three unanswered in the opening quarter for an early 3-1 lead. Brannan, Grant Zick and Scaliti pushed the Mustangs in front. Gettysburg eventually leveled the score at four in the opening frame before the Mustangs closed the quarter with three of the last four tallies for a 7-5 advantage.

The Bullets scored three unanswered to kickstart the second quarter, later adding the final two goals of the half for a 10-8 advantage over the Mustangs.

Spencer Knife registered a man-up marker for the lone goal of the third quarter and posted a key insurance marker at 7:54 in the fourth.
