Box Score OWINGS MILLS, Md. -- The 13th-ranked Stevenson men's lacrosse team surrendered the first goal of the night, but took its play up a notch from there in controlling Colorado College as part of a 15-6 victory on Saturday night at Mustang Stadium.
Stevenson (2-0) had four different players notch multiple goals, including a team-high four from Mitchell Lachman. Josh Brannan fired home three goals as Shane Ford and Jack Scaliti added two each.
While the Mustangs had plenty of contributors on offense, it was the suffocating defense that ruled the day in the resounding win. Marc Poust made nine saves, while Brannan scooped up five ground balls.

Minutes later Grant Zick assisted Shane Ford with a quick shot from the right side on the Mustangs' first goal to tie up the game. Under two minutes remaining in the second quarter, Jack Scaliti and Nolan Enneguess recorded a goal apiece just seconds apart.
It was the first career goal for Scaliti as Stevenson stretched its lead to 7-3 in the second before Ennegues tacked on another with his rapid-fire tally.
