REISTERSTOWN, Md. --  The Stevenson women's ice hockey team (5-5, 3-3 UCHC) fell to Wilkes (3-6-1, 3-3-1) 2-4 Saturday evening at the Reisterstown Sportsplex.

The Mustangs held the shot advantage in the opening period by a margin of 10-6. However, the Colonels would be the first to find the back of the net. Emma Bresett deposited the game's first goal at 8:57. Less than three minutes later, Sarah Uhall added a second goal for Wilkes at 11:42. Kiera Lacombe added assists on each goal.

Stevenson responded in the second period with a strong offensive effort. Kately Reid cut the deficit in half for the Mustangs at 5:52 in the second period. Maggie Dean added the assist on the goal. The Mustangs tied the game at two a-piece, just over two minutes later when Cassie Campbell sent a puck past the Colonels goalie's blocker. Hanna Labbe and Natasha Neelon added assists on the game-tying goal.

However, the lead was short lived as Wilkes added a goal at 10:56 off the stick of Abigail Barcless, assisted by Emma Bresset. The Colonels added one more goal in the second period at 14:53 off the stick of Julie Patterson with assists from Gianna Marzi and Abigail Barcless.
