Mustangs Drop UCHC Contest at No. 12 Nazareth

Box Score ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Stevenson women's ice hockey team (5-6, 3-3 UCHC) dropped a United Collegiate Hockey Conference contest at 12th-ranked Nazareth (10-2, 9-0 UCHC) by a score of 0-4 Friday night at Bill Gray's Iceplex.
 
Nazareth added the first goal just 2:15 in the first period when Ally Watrous found the back of the net. Nikolle Van Stralen moved the Golden Flyers lead to two with a goal at the 12:59 mark of the first period. Maggie Senhert added 17 saves in the opening frame.
 
Watrous would add her second goal at 9:06 in the second period. Senhert stopped all seven of the shots she faced in the remainder of the period.
 
The Golden Flyers would add their final tally off the stick of Abby Flanagan just 55 seconds into the final period. Senhert added eight saves in the remainder of the period, finishing the game with a career-high 39 saves.
 
The Mustangs and Golden Flyers meet again on Saturday, January 7 for a 3pm puck drop at Bill Gray's Iceplex.
